I won't see my mailbox again until mid-August, likely have to write to my FGS research office to voluntarily seek out my rejection, lol. I hope they put these past 4 months to good use!! Good luck everyone! That says 2017. I don't see the twitter yet saying they have mailed. But maybe there won't be one?
soupman Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 i also received word in an email that they mailed them out today. good luck everyone! UnlikelyGrad4 1

BibliophileSW Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Good luck everyone!! I can't wait to get the results. I really want a SSHRC... ahhh...
msfinley Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Hi everyone, so I won a Vanier scholarship and yesterday they emailed me requesting that I contact SSHRC and confirm that I’m declining a SSHRC scholarship. This morning I got an email from SSHRC saying that even though I declined I’ll be getting the results in the mail as they were mailed out April 27th. I hope this helps resolve some confusion. high_hopes 1
JimBob1 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Since the letters are out, should we take this to mean that our uni's already know?

high_hopes Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 SSHRC confirmed on Twitter that the results are out:
themoon Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Well at least we know they are out there! Good luck XX

I emailed mine today, and she responded that she normally hears from students before anyone else, but I really don't think this is consistent (from what I've seen in the past).
JimBob1 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Hmm. In that case, I would be tempted to just contact the Federal Awards Officer directly, and maybe get a reply?
high_hopes Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Also.... if SSHRC can use twitter why can't they just use some online portal to release the results or email them to us? #BecauseIts2018 BibliophileSW, Bmay and PsychBoy 2 1

JimBob1 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 A friend of mine told me he heard back after contacting the federal awards officer at their university! It seems this is an option, but I just don't have the nerve. fmlfmlfml 1

RainDays Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I just emailed our school's scholarships officer, so I'll let you folks know as soon as she emails me back !
JimBob1 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I just sent an email too. It can't hurt any more than opening the letter!
