    I received a call from a professor offering me a spot 2 days ago but nothing official from the school. I'm a little concerned about it but at the interview day, they did say it may take a little awhile for the system to update and send out notifications

I've applied for so many cycles, the first time I applied was in 2008 as a undergrad senior! I can't believe I finally got into a program that provides funding, just feels so surreal.

    You should definitely email your POI and any other faculty you interviewed with. Just say you enjoyed your time at the school and look forward to hearing from them and they can contact you with any other questions.

    I just got waitlisted and I also got an email asking that I let them know if I am interested in being on the list.

    It is so tiring. After many cycles of applying, I'm over the moon that so many schools invited me for interviews. But I'm also an introvert and I have 6 trips in 4 weeks (4 of which involve flying!). I'm broke and tired of being on and rushing off to the airport all the time. I'll be happy when this is done, I (hopefully!) have an acceptance in hand and cake!

    I emailed u of Montana and they had said all offers would go out by 2/3 so I guess bad news for both of us ?

    Most cycles, I didn't even get an interview. The major thing that changed is I have more papers/presentations and more research experience positions

    Couple of schools I'm waiting for hear back from and not sure if I should hold out hope anymore. I checked the results page and didn't see much for them. Anyone have the scoop on these? (sorry if any are repeats from someone else): - U of Montana - Utah State combined program - U of Utah (counseling) -Lasalle U (I think their dates are much later, but does anyone have an idea how late? Just trying to plan my trips) Thanks in advance!

    I definitely get it. This is the last time I'm applying (After saying last year was the last time lol). I've gotten a few interviews and fingers crossed, we all have good news to share this year.

    I'm definitely taking a big purse and a leather portfolio. I like being prepared and putting snacks and things like Tylenol in it. I was concerned about this too. I look better with my hair down so that's what I'm going to go with lol but I didn't even think about fidgeting with it! I usually don't but I'll be nervous so who knows. Ugh so many decisions

    I got an interview for IUP. Does anyone know how many people were invited and how many acceptance spots they have? Just want to know how much of a chance I have

    Congrats! If you're accepted and you aren't considering these programs anymore, do not go to these interviews. Politely inform them as soon as possible and try to get some of your travel arrangement money back. It seems wrong to go to the interview if you're not considering the school anymore since POI want to meet with potential mentees. Also, whoever is next on the waiting list should have a chance to go instead. Congrats again!

    Thanks for this thread. I'm very concerned, I applied to clinical psych programs to study resilience/coping in minority women. I don't know how soon it'll be but I suspect the administration will cut funding for sciences/research. Mental health services seem to always be on the chopping block first, so I'm afraid of what will happen.

    The leather part made me LOL. Sleeved dress, paisley design and goes down to right above my knee, opaque leggings. I think that should be fine. First interview is in a week and trying to work out all the details and trying not to be too nervous :/ It's an all day thing with luncheons and dinners and socials and I'm naturally introverted.

    What's appropriate for a "casual dinner" or social? I was thinking a dress with leggings and boots. But I'm not sure? Should I still be decked out in my blazer?

    That stinks, I'm sorry. I emailed them today and they said all applications were still being reviewed by the committee so I guess we'll all hear soon.
