Also, as far as I can tell, they don't have an online program...unless you're referring to their summers track. Either way, best of luck!

I'm not sure what the prompts are, but if you go to "past programs" on CSDCAS it might let you see them? Good luck!

I think reaching out to the school's graduate coordinator would be a great call because it also lets the school's admin know that you're taking it seriously by looking into applications early! Best luck!

Does anyone know if I can send my Recommendation Request Links before I submit my application? I have a professor that wants the electronic link by November 10th but the application is not due until January 10th. Also, does anyone have any information about UNR's program? Thank you in advance.

Just wanted to pop in here to say good luck to everyone! Try not to be too crazy nervous waiting, I know that sounds crazy, but I truly wish I didn't worry as much as I did. Because in the end, everything works itself out.

Hello! Does anyone have any info about the CASper interview? I'm a bit nervous but mainly because I can't prepare for it. I'm specifically applying to Eastern New Mexico University but I know other programs do CASper interviews too. Any advice?
    Thanks!

@alyssafrancis This is a good thing. They cannot review until everything is in... and they would not waste time unless they knew you should be looked at! (I've worked for admissions @ a university)

Here is information about licensure from ASHA about licensing in the states you're interested in:
    Rhode Island: https://www.asha.org/advocacy/state/info/RI/licensure/
    Connecticut: https://www.asha.org/advocacy/state/info/CT/licensure/
    Massachusetts: https://www.asha.org/advocacy/state/info/MA/licensure/
Also if you express to whatever grad school you go to about practicing in another state they should be able to help you or contact ASHA if you have questions. As long as the program is credited by ASHA and you are able to get your license and degree that's all that matters! You can always apply for instate residency if you do move out of state to save on costs!

So they require only one semester in person, and then the rest of it is online. This is helpful for me because I don't want to move away for two years but one semester would be do-able for me and my family. According to their stats and looking at Grad Cafe, it seemed to look like they accept lower GPA's and GRE scores (which would be my best bet) and that they look at the whole person, instead of just a number. I think it is going to be almost impossible for me to get into a California school. ENMU also has a non-traditional essay which I feel like could be helpful to getting in as well. And they are also rolling admissions, which give you more of a chance! So we'll see, I am applying to a few other schools as well. Hoping to get in eventually.

23... I was a student worried about my low GPA. Note to anybody else worried about low GPA's, do not apply to this many schools. I know about how stressful this process is, but if you need suggestions of schools who look at the applicant as a whole PM me...

@alyssafrancis Makes total sense! You're considerate / careful with looking at their stats..alot of people don't do that and they can be outdated... so I always ask to make sure-- but thats just me!
I personally prefer a holistic school but honestly all of your decision-making sounds really solid! Thanks for sharing! Fingers crossed it all works out. My only advice is get started and finish early. Don't stress over it but really just get the ball moving and it will be over shortly  I'm here with ya!

Hi! I went here for my undergrad and applied here, so I have some insight. I believe you can send your links before you submit your transcripts. Do you have any specific questions about UNR I could answer for you? Also feel free to direct message me as well.

Thank you! I’m waiting to submit my application to uwec (due on Friday) because CSUN is my top choice and if I can save $200 in app fees, that’d be nice. Lol I’m definitely not trying to get my hopes up but I appreciate that.

We should be hearing back from CSUN soon for the Distance Spring cohort!! Last year, around this time, people were getting invited to do the survey (interview). I know that they said the end of October, only a couple more weeks. Good luck to everyone and I hope we hear back shortly!
