  1. I have been accepted to a Psychology PhD programme at Bond University, Australia. As part of this, I had to include a proposal of my intended research area. As part of the scholarship application, they request a summary research proposal. I was wondering if anyone knows how long this should be? (the proposal for the programme application was 26 pages). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Rejection from Concordia (Psychology PhD). 4.0 undergrad GPA. GRE: verbal 168 quant 165 writing 5.5 Told that they consider domestic applicants first, and then look at international applications, so they didn't have space. I did not know this prior to getting the rejection. I would not have applied if I would have known this.
  3. I've just been speaking to my POI at McGill (I applied for the Psychology PhD, thesis option). He said that he had already completed interviews, and sent out admissions, and the department should be similar, so I guess that means if we haven't heard anything that it is a rejection. The email was as follows: "I have already conducted interviews and made offers. Sorry if the department has not yet notified you--I think they wait until everything is final before doing so. I know this isn't the best news (having been rejected to over 30 graduate programs myself before finally getting in!). I hope things work out for you."

  5. Do you know if this was just for clinical Psychology, or for other programmes as well (I applied for the general Psychology PhD)? thanks
  6. Psychology PhD from Toronto
  7. Has anyone heard back from Canadian uni's yet? I applied for the Psychology PhD programme at McGill, Concordia, and Uni of Toronto, but haven't heard anything back from them yet
  8. Has anyone applied for Canadian PhD programmes? I have applied for Psychology PhD at McGill, Concordia, and University of Toronto, but haven't heard back from any of them yet.
  9. I applied for McGill, Concordia and University of Toronto. I haven't heard anything yet, but spoke to Concordia who said they release their decisions 12 weeks after the deadline. Did you guys have interviews for these?
  10. Hi everyone. I'm from the UK. I have applied for a Psychology PhD at UT, McGill and Concordia. Concordia have said that they generally reply 12 weeks after the deadline (deadline was early December) so hopefully soon, although that may not take into account the Christmas break. Has anyone else heard anything back yet from these? Thanks
