    Yes! I feel completely unprepared sometimes! The undergrad classes seemed hard so knowing that will multiply is head spinning.

    Congrats on CSUSM! I know that first acceptance is magical, like okay, this is happening! I got into UT Austin yesterday and almost cried. I’m still hoping for some CA options though.

    I was! It wasn’t my best interview but I didn’t bomb it. Hope that’s enough. How did you feel? Sorry to hear CSULB was your top choice. You never know, they might still send out more invites!

    How is everyone doing now that California decisions have started to come out? I've gotten a couple interviews and not gotten others I was hoping for at this point, but no decisions yet. Anyone know anything about when University of Redlands will be announcing their decisions? Haven't heard anything.

    Same for me. I think this might mean we've been removed from the system ?. Still hoping for CSUN and CSULA ?. Where else did you apply @Jspeechy? For those who received invites to CSUF and CSULB that haven't previously attended there, what were your stats like? Were there any experiences that you think made you stand out? (Could be helpful to future applicants who comb these pages like we did!). Thanks!

    Did you check your portal for UT Austin? A lot of people said they didn’t get emailed but only found out on the portal.

    Congrats! I’m out of state as well. Which state or region are you from? I haven’t made a decision yet as I have a lot more schools to hear from.

    Congrats to you too! It is my only option so far. haha. If I hear from an in state public school I’ll have a hard decision to make. I’m sorry ?. I haven’t gotten interviews for a couple schools that were high on my list so I know it really stinks. I think its lame they don’t at least email you. Are you still waiting to hear from other schools ?

    I never got invited for LB or Fullerton. I knew those two were a longshot but had to try.

    $1100 for 9 schools after transcripts, app fees, and ETS fees. Many had CSDCAS and school specific applications which both had fees.

    That’s a helpful scale! For any California applicants determined to stay in state, I’d reccommend 6+ schools for 3.9-4.0, 8+ for 3.7-3.8, and 10+ schools for anything below that. Of course SOP and experiences play a role too. The problem is the schools are so overwhelmed by 500-600 applications, many do a blind GPA/GRE cutoff.
