You don't need one because you can already log into Acorn with your UTorID

I did just receive it this morning at 11:32am exactly LOL. Thank you so much! I was so nervous. I only applied to two schools and got waitlisted at UofT so this was great news. Good luck, I hope you get in :)

Hey, when you first applied they sent an email out asking you to register for your JOINid. If you find that email you can register and it brings you to the ACORN portal. There on the dashboard, according to previous years, it updates usually before the SGS status does. Thats why people check it as well. I hope that helps.

Thank you! I was able to log in to ACORN. Where exactly would I see my admission status? On the dashboard it says "Today's Timetable", "Key Sessional Dates", "Academics", and "Finances" but no information for any of them. Will this change once I hear from them or is there somewhere else I should be able to see my admission status?

So what I have seen/read from previous applicants is that under academics it will change to invited and usually say SW or something.

Hey! It should say it under academics. If you receive an offer, it'll appear as "invited". Mine currently says "Financially Cancelled" because I used to go to UofT and transferred to Waterloo in my second year. But should you receive an offer, that's where it would appear! Otherwise, the alternative decision would appear on the SGS portal! Hope that helps!

Honestly, since MSW programs are so competitive I would accept the MSW if it was offered. I actually applied to both a couple years ago and was waitlisted at Toronto and York but accepted into the York Post-Degree BSW program that I am actually just completing now. The BSW route was longer but I am really grateful for the opportunity and I was accepted into an MSW program for this September. I think however you get there is the right way for you! Only you know what is best for you :) wishing you the best!

Congratulations!!! When were you notified if you got into York's Post-Degree BSW? I haven't been able to get any information from York about when acceptances go out for that program. I'm very anxiously waiting on the York BSW Post-degree and the 2-year MSW program at UofT, so very similar track!

Has anyone who applied for the 2-year UoT program received a request for their official transcript?

Expand

I got an email in February asking for a new transcript with my degree name on it, but not sure if this is the same. Where did you get the request and what did it say??

I did not get a request, which has made me nervous that I'm going to be rejected. Was wondering if anyone else had been asked for their official.
