Thompson Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Someone's got a Georgetown acceptance up now.
IRTheoryNerd Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Georgetown rejected via "other"?? What is "other"?
boazczoine Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Georgetown rejected via "other"?? What is "other"? Fax? Or a mis-click?
Chamberlain25 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Fax? Or a mis-click? I was thinking: singing telegram Targy and strangepeace 2
strangepeace Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Georgetown rejected via "other"?? What is "other"? This is my question as well...?
lonestarflag Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I'm claiming a Vandy admit! I'm telling you, me and game theory class. wokeem and mooneyed 2
IRTheoryNerd Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I was thinking: singing telegram A single propeller airplane with a banner behind it?
doctoralgrad23 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 5 Vanderbilt acceptances.. Congrats to all..
lonestarflag Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Okay. I'll take a Notre Dame admit too.
AHL Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I'll claim another Vandy acceptance. I guess this goes against my earlier quote from my interview that decisions would be released in late February, and confirms the unpredictability of the timing of this process.
Orlien Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Congrats to all of the Vandy, ND, and Georgetown admits!!!
Chamberlain25 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 A single propeller airplane with a banner behind it? Only if Shia LeBeouf was DGS Congrats on Vandy and ND. Looks like Georgetown is calling in acceptances. I like that method, because I can't constantly refresh my phone (not that I applied there)...
AuldReekie Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) By the way IRTheoryNerd, I am also interested in IR Theory( structural realist mostly).. Theorists in the house. I am a critical constructivist of the Nick Onuf and Ludwig Wittgenstein variety. I'm curious what, as a structural realist, you think of Patrick Thaddeus Jackson's categorization of Waltz as an Analyticist (in "Conduct of Inquiry in IR"). *Waves* Good luck to the theorists (and everyone else of course.) Just popping in to wish you all good luck, my plans to apply were sadly derailed by my finances.. but next year! Are there rumours that Katzenstein might retire? I guess he's earned it, but then again some academics like to keep on going.. Edited February 10, 2014 by RLemkin
lonestarflag Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 ^ You're killing it! Congrats! Thanks!
