What's the story behind your avatar or username?

Mine's sorta lame, it's basically just because I love traveling and can't stay in one place for too long! And I can't for the life of me upload an avatar, not sure why.

Senna is my roleplaying character and she is pretty much always a rogue. She's kind of my alter-ego. I'm a dork. ;p my pic is a photo of me at NYCC this past fall with the wax statues of Nick Fury and my favorite superhero, Captain America.

My story is a bit long-winded. When I was in junior high, my friends nicknamed me "snaky", as in a little snake, and they said it was because I was skinny and wiggly (don't ask). I liked the idea of a mysterious creature that can be dormant most of the time but agressive when attacked, so I kept the nickname. Then we started reading a manga about a family suffering from a Chinese zodiac curse (it's real, it's called Fruit Basket, look it up) and the character whose zodiac sign was a snake was called Ayame. It's a he, mind you, but I liked the name so much I adopted it as my new nickname. Then even later, I found out Ayame can mean "iris" in Japanese, which made me like it even more. My favorite color was/is purple/violet, so Violet Ayame became my Internet name and thus a lovely iris as the avatar.

Eriatarka is a song from the Mars Volta. My favorite song from my favorite band. It's also useful because no one else really has it, so I never have to come up with an alternative name when creating accounts.

My name is the same, but I updated my avatar to try and channel punk rock Frida in this round of applications - being a badass lady who doesn't give a fuck.

 

The reality is I'm still scared shitless that after 2 rounds and 15 applications total I won't get it anywhere.

The name means "the Sun" in Russian. In Russian that is Солнце.  This is how my dad used to call me when I was little. Also I wanted to make it obvious to people here on forum, who know Russian, that I at least know Russian

Is "adenine" an anagram of one name and "monarch" an anagram of the other, or is "adenine+monarch" as a whole an anagram of both first and last names? That's all I'd want to know before making any guesses.

Yeah, sorry. I should have said. It is not divided up. Adenine+Monarch as a whole is the anagram for both first and last name (and the capital A and capital M make no difference, either. It doesn't mean those are the starting letters or anything).
