Sorry, I did not add it: I have not heard anything.

I see the tendency of schools releasing their decisions early for this cycle tho, which means that you can’t just ignore the admitted people’s posts all to be trolls since not all people like to tell it off in the forum

@ People who got accepted to Penn State: what are your subfield? I'm applying for CP and still haven't heard anything.

I applied in IR and haven't heard anything either. Going off the past reports it seems that PSU sends out their acceptances in early Feb, and then their rejections in late Feb. Leaving most of us in limbo for a while :(

Oh, I see. Thank you. It looks like PSU has started to look at CP applicants based on the post on the result page. I'll just assume for the worst and move on then.

A quick off topic question: is it normal that the webpage for forums is always down? Or it’s just my internet’s problem

The forum is usually down for about 30 minutes to an hour after schools send out decisions. Probably from high traffic I'm guessing. In the middle of the night or early in the morning, I never have issues. Its right before and after lunch time that I can never get on.

Tell me about it haha. Also I feel guilt easily, so it'll sting when I deny anyone. I honestly just thought I'd have 2-3 offers. My LOR writers must have worked some magic.

You'll definitely be able to get a great funding package. Play them off each other and make them fight for you!

Hey now, no imposter syndrome here. You clearly had a great application and are going to make a fantastic political scientist!!

Rejected from Brown University. Can't say I'm surprised, but I thought I was a good fit. Kinda sad.

They emailed me to check my portal. There was a polite rejection letter.

Same here - thought I was a really good fit.  Guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I'm trying really hard to keep from despairing. I'm still waiting on five schools, but now I feel somewhat disheartened. Oh, well.

No shade but it might well be because of all those people who applied to +20 schools with +3.9 GPA and +165 GRE Scores. That's why we see some people getting accepted into +10 schools while others with more modest scores not being able to even be waitlisted. It's just a sad system.
