Other than that, Master's programs have deadlines Jan-Feb, though I think that is a given, and I am not sure if this information is helpful if someone already has their Master's degree. But hope it helps!

Editing to say I meant to respond to the above poster asking me about the programs. Oops!

I also applied to a few MA/MS Programs in case I was not competitive enough. Are there any that you found particularly compelling? I still have my fingers crossed for a PhD or PsyD program but with every day that passes I am a bit less hopeful but if it's meant to be it will be!

I haven't heard from UW yet either - no posts in the results page as of yet, as well! Looks like last year interview notifications went out mid January.

Has anyone heard from the counseling programs at University of Louisville or Georgia State, or the combined clinical/counseling program at Utah State University?

Should I be panicking if I haven’t heard from anywhere else yet? I had one prelim but unfortunately didn’t get a formal interview from that school. The nerves are getting to me

I don't think so! From what I've been hearing, this year is just going to take a little longer for faculty to sort through applications. In past years, applicants will typically hear of interview invites by the end of January (depending on the program, of course) - so I think we have plenty of time!

For those who applied to UGA: all invites have been sent out to first picks, but there is an alternate list for the formal round. Just learnt via email.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry until the end of January, especially if the program's interviews aren't until February. There's still time left! If you're on break rn, don't let this process steal your time for peace and relaxation!

I just got an email sent to me specifically from the head of admissions, so I'm afraid I couldn't say as to the scope of the list or if they've finished sending out notices. Fingers crossed you get one!

Nope, I had written myself off actually. Just checked my mail and lo and behold they had reached out. I'll give them credit for being communicable. For what's it's worth I did have a prelim there, don't know if that's typical for all POIs there or not.

I received the same email with my POI cc'd and I didn't have a prelim. I concur with you, they definitely get credit for being communicable.

Just catching up with this forum! For those who have posted in the last week or so:

• University of Houston Counseling - I applied and have not heard anything, but I know someone who heard from their PI in early December. Their interview day (per my friend) is Feb 12.
• University of Louisville Counseling - I applied and heard back from PI last week with an interview offer. You can PM me for PI info if you want. 
• Georgia State Clinical/Community - I applied, have not heard back. 
• Boston College Counseling - I applied, have not heard back.
• University of Texas Austin Counseling - I applied, have not heard back.

how should I respond to address this?  Especially since I’m waiting to hear back from this program still.

I would just say basically what you said here. "Hello, there appears to be an error, and I don't believe I was the intended recipient of this email. However, I did also apply to this program, but for x emphasis."

This just happened to me too! I got an email from my PI at Kent State but it was addressed to someone else. Crossing my fingers it was just an email drafting error ?

Haven't heard anything from UH either. Wondering if all invites have been sent or will be sometime soon since interviews aren't until February.
