Does anyone know when University of Memphis sends out interviews? So anxious about this one!

If anyone is wondering about FSU, their coordinator said faculty are still reviewing applications for interviews and expect to email applicants in the next few weeks. (I had emailed to inquire and just received response a few minutes ago.)

For clinical? Their interview weekend is January 24-26 and a lot of people were invited back in December. Maybe the coordinator is referring to the interview alternates?

Has anyone heard from Georgia State for clinical interviews?

I saw two people post interviews on the results page. Doesn't look like they're on the forums tho so not sure about POIs.

Yeah, I had seen the previous invitations (though they seemed quite sporadic, which gave me hope that there might be some lingerers when I first inquired last week). I was merely relaying that the clinical coordinator said "Faculty are still reviewing applications for upcoming interviews." At this point, it's likely she was referring to the alternates, but there may still be a glimmer of hope for applicants. Maybe they really are behind and expect to offer an alternate interview weekend for 2nd round draft picks. I prefer to be optimistic and put my post-rejection mental breakdown off as long as possible. ?

Has anyone herd back from the University of New Mexico or Columbia University? I haven't seen or herd anything from either of them on the results/forums pages... Too soon or too late? Does anyone have any information? Thanks!

Called Columbia TC for Counseling Psych, they said first week February.

Anyone know about University of Florida Counseling Psych?

I’m also waiting to hear back from UF, but it looked like at least 1 person had already got an interview.

I called yesterday and they said that individual professors might be sending emails but they haven’t sent any official one yet. So right now it seems based on the POIs sending personal prelim screens

For the individuals who received mass emails from GSU were you all on the clinical-community track or were some of you on clinical only track? Also if you feel comfortable could you DM your POI? Thank you and congrats!

I saw someone post a few days ago that the Coordinator at CU Boulder said that all interview invites have been extended. :( I was bummed, one of my favorite programs (although let's be real, they're all my fav)

I've seen a few people post about Georgia State and University of South Carolina. Who are your PIs? I'm holding out for these school before I accept a job offer instead. I applied to work with AG, CS, and KS at GSU and SS at USC.

Does anyone know if all invites have been sent out for the University of Houston, Arizona State or Boston University clinical PhD programs?

Hi, I'm very new here and I was wondering if I could get a somewhat simple breakdown of how counseling psychology Ph.D. programs at well-known "prestigious" universities, say Boston College or TC at Columbia, compare to a lot of other prominent names I see in the field, like University of Minnesota or University of Florida. For example, is there a difference in the amount of research being conducted by faculty? Are the research topics more niche? Generally, are there different long term goals for Ph.D. students at these schools -- namely goals where the location/prestige of the university are particularly advantageous. My understanding is that all of these programs are wonderful but I am trying to understand this realistically. Looking to apply in a few years...

I don’t think anyone has heard from BU... or at least I hope not. But haven’t seen anything!

I have the same question for Houston!

Does anyone have any insight on LIU Brooklyn's funding opportunities (Clinical PhD)? In the guidebook it says 80% of students receive "half tuition waiver and assistanceship".

I am not sure if interview invites are all out, but their interview date is February 1st. Feel free to DM for PI.
